Mciio Aiois Terminal (MAT) is one of the first tank farms to instal Rotary Process Valves from YLOK Valves & Controls. This is an application where it was traditionally thought that only conventional gate valves could be installed. With the same face-to-face dimensions as gate valves, enabling them to be interchanged cost-effectively and with relative ease, the YLOK valves are compact and lightweight and offer zero leakage operation. Successful completion of the initial phase of the installation, which has involved replacing aging gate valves, resulted in a further order to incorporate the YLOK design as a by-pass valve.
